Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactI saw the name Space Odyssey and it makes sense because looking at the inside of the ship some creatures and plants seem to have infiltrated the ship. With the decks and window this ship is huge but where is the life? It looks like all the windows are barred and space cobwebs are everywhere. At times when looking closely it seems that I can make out a face or a body but they do not look lively. I notice how there are a couple of lights here and there that lend hope to someones survival, but that hope is dashed as you really look at the ship and realize there is to much detritus on this ship for humans to have survived. I like the way the artist gets both height and depth on this ship. The background colour is perfect to show the dilapidation of the ship and the rusty brown colors definitely symbolize to me that it is a fragile part of the ship. The artist has done a wonderful job in pointing out what happens when we do not finish what we started. This ship should not just be a floating ghost ship. Someone is responsible and brought this ship down before it became a spaceship coral reef. It is a masterful piece of art and should be looked at so this does not happen in anybody's future!
